RICHARD POCHÉ
Director/Co-Writer
Richard has been one of the most prolific directors in the San
Francisco Bay Area since 2002 with over 18 shorts and features to
his credit. His works include boxing documentaries "Corazón" and
"The Fight Life" both of which were featured in local film
festivals. His micro budget vampire feature, "Crimson",
premiered at the Fantaspoa Film Festival in Brazil as well as
garnering placement in Blockbuster, Sam Goody's, and Netflix.
Numerous local actors have gotten their start with his projects and
have used their clips to gain agency representation as well going
on to land roles in "True Blood", "Entourage", "CSI", and NBC's
"Trauma."
VICKY L. NEAL
Co-Writer
Vicky has been writing for over 25 years and has had numerous
articles, books and screenplays published and produced. She is the
author of "Cruise Into Terror" as well as the screenwriter for "The
Ghost of Randall Bowers" and the award winning "Ghoul Mates."
The story of "The Orphanage" isn't location specific and can be
filmed just about anywhere in the United States. However, each of
the characters have code names with some kind of connection to
the American South. The unique architecture and landscape of the
greater New Orleans area will give the movie an energy and
character that cannot be found elsewhere.

Twenty years ago, four young girls were plucked from
an orphanage by a mysterious businessman who called
himself the Puppeteer. Presenting himself as the man
who “pulls the strings,” the Puppeteer brainwashes and
grooms the girls into becoming cold hearted assassins
to do his bidding. Their past is erased, they are given
new code names, and are versed in the Code. The Code
is to follow the orders of the Puppeteer until the day he
dies. And if the Code is broken, the consequences will
be deadly...
But one day, Cowgirl decides to leave the corral.
After being assigned to kill a man with a small child,
Cowgirl suffers a flashback of the repressed memories
of her past. Not wanting to leave the child an orphan
like herself, Cowgirl backs out of the hit...and breaks
the Code.
Cowgirl goes about rediscovering-and reclaiming the
life she’s lost. But her fellow assassins are not going to
let her leave the ranch alive.
The Orphanage will be an action movie that lends
itself to a heavy metal beat- mixed in with a little jazz
and punk that will have the viewer rockin’ to its savage
tempo.
