This was a fun shoot. For some odd reason, I have kept in contact with the majority of the people
involved in this project. The cast and crew assembled for this project remain among the *coolest* bunch
of people I've worked with.
This flick was shot throughout August of 2002. Years later, I renamed it to "Zap" in order to avoid
confusion with the popular musical show.
I obviously could not afford film for this project. Around this time there was no 24p readily available. It
was either film or flat video. We shot on regular Hi-8 video. Upon seeing the footage, one of the
actresses commented "It looks like the Blair Witch Project."
"Zap" is a well written script by Ray Givler. It is one of my past projects that I've entertained thoughts
of re-doing on 24p with a different cast as most all of these folks have moved on.
"Zap" is being distributed through Maxim Media International.

Zap aka The Wicked! was shot during the Fall of 2002. It centers around the sorority of Zeta Alpha Pi
(ZAP), a secret sorority of altruistic witches operating out of San Francisco Bay College. After losing
one of their members to graduation, the sorority must choose a new student for their coven. When
Alexis (Sarah MacKay) is spurned for the spot, she immediately wants revenge on the sorority
members and begins killing them one by one.

It is interesting to follow up on some of the people I've worked with and what they went on to do in
Tinseltown or even the Big Apple. Some folks move on to other interests while some continue in the
